Markets

In most areas, you do not go to the store to buy supplies. Instead, there are open-air markets. You can buy everything at the market, but I would avoid most of the food there. Meat, fish, eggs, fruit, vegetables, milk are typically out in the open, without any refrigeration or cover from the sun or flies.

Items that can be found easily in Ukraine’s markets:

• Chocolates and sweets
• Fruit and Vegetables
• Coke / Pepsi (regular, no diet or caffeine free)
• Children’s toys
