Adoption

This is the outside view of the Adoption Center. The entrance is in an alley just off of a main road in Kiev. It was definitely not what we were expecting.

This is the waiting area at the Adoption Center. It is a long dim hallway with only one light bulb working. You must wait here with many other nervous families for your turn to see Mrs. Kunko.

This is the infamous Customs green line / red line. The green line is the express lane for travelers who do not have anything valuable with them (including money). You MUST go through the RED line.

If your airline loses a piece of your luggage, you should look for this sign at the airport. We spent two hours in line waiting to report our lost bag.

Airport Luggage Rental

Once you arrive at the Kiev airport, you will need to purchase medical insurance at the booth on the right. This will give you medical coverage in case of an emergency during your stay.
